Mt. Field

I am always so impressed by huge spaces and views from locations high up.
They make the most amazing pictures. And you know, a picture is worth a thousand words!

Happy things!

Mmmmm wine and ice-cream!

There is nothing more I need in life.

Ok I lied...

I also need shoes and cheese

Tissu in B&W

These are some pictures from an aerial tissu shoot that myself and a couple of friends did on the rig at my house.

I think this is one of those things where practice makes perfect, even with the basics, its harder to come up with poses than you might think...

My Favourite Place In The World

One of the most beautiful places in the world to me.
The location I grew up and spent every summer swimming, fishing and running around like a crazy person.
Beautiful sunny days. Storms and torrents of rain and wind. Whatever the weather I would swim. Nowadays... Not so much.

Apricots are better than Apples...

Unfortunately I cannot claim ownership of this picture, it was actually taken by my future sister in law. But I really like it!

Which brings me to the topic of what I have been doing this weekend.

My poor dear computer, (below with its lovely stickers) Has been very slow and noisy lately (read: several months) so I decided it needed a complete over hall. Meaning, back up everything and delete entire hard drive. I was so scared to do it because my whole life is saved on my dear computer. but in the end it worked out well, and I am pretty much all updated and free of all the crap which has been lagging it for so long. Yay for me for figuring out how to do it all by myself! In other news... Work road trip last week resulted in this mysterious foggy picture taken at something ridiculous like 6:30am in the morning! And a beautiful shed is in the finishing stages of construction! Doors to be added and painting to be finished. Then... dum dum dum dum, on to the house!!!

Deligma

I went and dropped in on an old friend at the pub he was playing in tonight. It is always such a lovely occasion to see old friend who you haven't seen in forever (read: 2 years). We had a fantastic conversation about what was happening in both of our lives, and I feel like he could be earnest with me and I with him without any fear of repercussions. Friendships can be like that.

After I had a chat with J and told him about catching up with D and J raised the point that (though he is never jealous) I often get jealous of him talking to other girls. This is so true and I feel terribly about it! Mostly about the hypocrisy of the situation. I try to explain to him that in my mind it makes perfect sense, because I would never dream of cheating on him, and therefore me talking with other boys is a non issue. But as I cannot read his mind I don't know if he would find someone more attractive than me and want to leave me for them!

I am a jealous type! I admit it and I actually think its ok.

Anyways this is just a situation where I guess you have to try and see both sides of the fence.

In other news, I have to stop being so slack and I should be keeping an eye on what else is happening around me.

My thoughts go out to NZ at this time. What is with all of the natural disasters befalling the face of the earth lately? Is it disaster season and no one was given any warning?

MONA

Museum of Old and New Art.
Was certainly an interesting visit. I had only an hour to stop off and see what it was all about, but it really was an experience. Cant wait to visit once again.
I was really taken by some of the pieces and the architecture of the building was amazing. not to mention the thought and detail which was applied to the whole thing. Down the the information they included on the iPods which you receive on entry to guide you through and give you inside information on the artworks on display.

I suggest any one with some time to kill in Hobart, head there. Take the ferry from the warf, don't drive and park unless its absolutely necessary!!!
